Anish is a former youth and community worker currently completing a PhD project titled: A critical genealogy of black radical and anti-racist resistances to policing and bordering: geographies of defence, care, and abolition in and through London 1960-Present. They have been involved in activism and community organising related to police and border abolition in London since 2017. As an abolitionist, they see individual, collective and community practices of defence, care, and conflict transformation as essential for building a world full of love and without prisons, borders and the police.
