Privacy Policy

We have a named person as ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide for OpenEdge Transforming Conflict’s workshop, events, donations and mailing lists. See below for who this currently is.
 
Why we need your data: We need to know your basic personal data in order to provide you with on-going updates, publicity and information. We will not collect any personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee this service to you.
 
How we keep your data: We use GDPR compliant, double opt-in sign up forms for regular updates in mailchimp. You will receive emails about your booking status for events and for future events, as well as updates and publicity, until you advise us otherwise. We will also sometimes use e-forms for some registration and feedback, with which there is optional identification. We also use facebook groups for advertising purposes.

How long we keep your data: The personal information we use for communications, outreach and educational purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information. At which point all your personal information will be discarded.
 
Website, blogs, publicity: We will share about our work in public spaces, but we will never give personal names or other information. We will use your images (photos) only if we have asked your permission at the time of taking them, and you have agreed. If you change your mind you can request us to remove any image at any time.
 
Online personal notes and formal reports/ documents about our work are sometimes kept for evaluation and reporting purposes. Names and personal information are never included here. Such documents are kept in a password protected file. 
 
This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected for workshop signups, donations, mailing lists, and feedback via the website, e-forms, and in sessions.
 
Your information will not be sold, reused, rented or disclosed to unspecified third parties.
 
You are entitled to see any information held about you and may request any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up-to-date.
 
We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. While our online posts may be viewed by children, we do not seek to receive data from children.
 
Breach of privacy: If for any reason you believe that your privacy has been breached through the use of this site, please let the Data Controller know immediately by email, and we will do our best to promptly determine and correct the problem.
 
Updates: We check this policy regularly and keep it up to date. When we do we will also revise the “last updated” date at the top of the privacy policy.
